Use

Container is exclusive to motor base; not interchangeable with other Vitamix containers.
Do not continuously operate blender for more than 3 minutes at a time.

Care

Container is designed to be completely cleanable without removing retainer nut and blade assembly. Do not remove retainer nut or blade assembly from container.
To self-clean container, partially fill with warm water and a few drops of dish soap. Snap lid into locked position. Rotate dial from 0 to high and blend for 30–60 seconds. Rotate dial back to 0. Allow blades to stop. Rinse and drain all pieces.
To clean lid, lid plug, centering pad and tamper, wash in warm soapy water. Rinse clean under running water, then dry.
To clean blender base, wipe with soft, damp cloth or sponge using mild dish soap and warm water.
